Company Overview

LATINISTA.com started it’s journey in 2008 with Latinista Fashion Week + Latinista Events which took off and gave birth to the launch of  LATINISTA.com magazine . Our tiny team with a vision to create a unique platform for the next generation of latinas and bridging the gap from old school to new school under one umbrella.

Our mission has been to entertain and give women  content that covers Latin fashion, beauty, politics, art , culture, style, parenting,  music and celebrities, and to create products and services that always have, at the core, the real Latina woman—her unique style, her unique culture 

Latinista.com is  focused on celebrating the culture, honoring the past and celebrating the future of Latina women in the United States.  We are excited to be in the mix of this amazing community, and this specific culture is making a difference in shaping our future.

What’s unique about us is that we are creating a bridge for the latina gen x to the millennial latina…what do we have in common-…being latina…Latinista.com is everything about Latin foods,  Latin events to go to in their cities, the latest in fashion, beauty, relationships, health and business tips created just for you….LATINISTA

LATINISTA Events & Promotions

LATINISTA creates experiential events through which clients can connect deeply to the diverse  Latin woman. LATINISTA provides opportunities such as sampling, research, promotions and sweepstakes, both in the publication and the Web site.


Dee Rivera, CEO of DCG Public Relations,  started her career in editorial magazines as a Fashion + Beauty Editor at Modern Bride Magazine, Latina Magazine, Brio, Splash and Chaos Magazine. She then rolled up her sleeves in Public Relations as a Publicist at one of New York City’s top PR firms, when she developed a “Nose for News” by pitching editorial stories, segments and tracking breaking news stories.

In 2007, Dee started DCG Public Relations, a boutique firm in NYC specializing in digital marketing +branding, including experiential curated events and focusing on lifestyle beauty and fashion brands. In the last 10 years, her company has successfully grown, working with viable brands, such as Jay Manuel Beauty, Inca Kola USA,  IMAN Cosmetics, Vera Moore Cosmetics, Glamazon Cosmetics, Jane Carter Solutions, Survive + Thrive Today Conferences,  Latinista Lifestyle Brands among many other brands

At the same time she was building LATINISTA + Latinista Fashion Week which has grown leaps + bounds for the last 10 years..
